What types of therapy do you offer?
We provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy for children, teens, and adults. Treatment is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes! We offer secure telehealth therapy for clients throughout New York State. Online sessions provide the same high-quality care as in-person therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home. All you need is a reliable internet connection, a private space, and to be physically located in New York State at the time of your appointment.
How much do your sessions cost?
We accept many major insurance plans, as well as self-pay clients. If you plan to use insurance, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your specific plan, including any copayments, coinsurance, or deductible requirements.
For clients paying out of pocket, our standard self-pay rates are:
- 45-minute Individual Therapy (CPT 90834): $350
- 60-minute Individual Therapy (CPT 90837): $400
- Couples Therapy (CPT 90847): $450
We also offer a sliding-scale program for clients experiencing financial hardship. Eligibility is based on documented financial need and availability. How can I pay for therapy?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. For your convenience and security, a valid card must be kept on file and payments are processed through our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made with the Practice.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept a variety of insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify your insurance benefits and determine your coverage.
What issues do you treat?
Our clinicians work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes! We provide online consultations for clients who prefer remote services or live outside our local area. All you need is a good internet connection and a few photos or videos of your space.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most individual therapy sessions are either 45 or 60 minutes. Couples therapy sessions are generally 60 minutes unless otherwise arranged.
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, review your history, identify your goals, and answer any questions you have about the therapy process.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can contact our office by phone or email to request an appointment. We’ll help match you with the clinician who best fits your needs and guide you through the intake process.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. As a courtesy, your first late cancellation or no-show is waived. Please refer to our Financial Agreement for complete details.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is very important to us. Information shared during therapy is confidential except in situations where disclosure is required or permitted by law, such as concerns about safety or abuse. Your clinician will review confidentiality with you during your first appointment.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. Our clinicians provide psychotherapy and counseling services. If medication may be beneficial, we can coordinate care with your primary care provider or refer you to a qualified psychiatric provider for evaluation.
Which ages do you work with?
We provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and families.
